Richard Rogers, Chief Adviser to the Mayor of London on Architecture and Urbanism,
is the recipient of the prestigious RIBA Gold Medal in 1985 and winner of the
1999 Thomas Jefferson Memorial Foundation Medal and the 2000 Praemium Imperiale
Prize for Architecture. His projects include the Pompidou Centre, Paris; Lloyd's
Headquarters, London; and the Millennium Dome, London.
