Tim Davie is the Chief Executive of BBC Worldwide, the BBC’s global commercial arm. He is a member of the BBC Executive Board.
He previously served as Acting Director-General of the BBC and Director of BBC Audio & Music (now known as Radio), with overall responsibility for all of the BBC’s national radio networks and the corporation’s music output across all media, including the three BBC orchestras in England, the BBC Singers and the BBC Proms.
Tim Davie read English at Cambridge University. Earlier in his career he was a Brand Manager for Procter & Gamble, and then Vice President (Marketing and Franchise) at PepsiCo Europe.
He is the Chairman of Comic Relief, Vice Chair of the Royal Television Society and Co-Chair of the UKTI Creative Industries Sector Advisory Group. Tim previously served on a number of boards including Freesat, Digital UK and Children in Need.
