Please note that we do not reply to generic questionnaires and questions about:
- Non-Tate works of art, general art themes or genres (your local library or a good art reference library should be able to help you)
- Valuation or authentication of works of art (try a reputable art dealer or auction house).
We are also unable to give out contact details for authors of Tate Publishing books, or for artists in the collection or who are exhibiting at Tate.
If you need to contact an author please send a letter marked for their attention c/o Tate Publishing. While artists can be contacted via their representing commercial gallery.
Please see the trade page.
Due to the large volume of submissions we receive, it is not always possible for us to provide a written response to every proposal. If you have not received a response after three months of submitting your proposal, it unfortunately indicates we do not intend to pursue the proposal for publication.
If you would like to be considered for freelance editorial or translation work, please email your CV and covering letter to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Tate Publishing works with a range of freelance designers. If you have book design experience and would like to submit your portfolio for consideration please send a low-resolution PDF to email@example.com or to our postal address above.
