Dated by Roberta González c.1908-9, but according to Mrs Madeleine B. Ginsburg the hat, hair and shoulderline of the girl on the verso are characteristic of a period four to five years earlier. The girl on the recto appears to be the same as the one in T01591.
[All the drawings by Julio González given to the Tate are authenticated on the back by his daughter Roberta González and inscribed with a title and date, or approximate date. The titles are used in the catalogue entries, but the dating has been made more precise wherever possible.
