International militarisation, driven by big industry, is shown as finding a place of worship in Geneva, the seat of the League of Nations. As David Evans points out, Heartfield attacked Germany, Britain and America by placing dollar and pound signs as well as the names of key arms manufacturers on the missile / domes.
