A portrait of the well-known New Zealand-born painter (1869–1947). On the reverse is a pencil drawing of Cedric Morris's head in profile, pipe in mouth. John Piper confirms its attribution to Frances Hodgkins, in whose hand the pencil inscription below the portrait of Morris appears to be.
