Catalogue entry

Inverted relative to the sketchbook’s foliation, the slight sketch of a skyline at the top continues across folio 33 verso opposite (D27787). The buildings or structures suggest a harbour, as yet unidentified. There are various studies of fishermen, fish markets and coastal views in the sketchbook, particularly on adjacent pages at this end, as set out in the Introduction.
