Catalogue entry

This is the left half of a double-page spread recording Bilton Hall, continued to the right on Tate folio 13 (D10891), opposite.
Bilton Hall is a private house at Bilton in Ainsty about five miles east of Wetherby. It was the property of the Hall Plumer family, and the west range survives as drawn by Turner with its three large canted bays, despite considerable augmentation since that time.
