Catalogue entry

Inverted relative to the sketchbook’s foliation, there are three studies of cliffs and distant buildings, presumably on a Channel coast. There may be a brief inscription over the skyline towards the bottom left. See the sketchbook’s Introduction for the many slight coastal views scattered through it.
