A view of the Cathedral and Great St Martin's church beyond the bustling Rhine. This design was first published as the frontispiece-vignette to vol.XVI of the 'Life and Works' of Byron, where it introduces Byron's brief and frivolous mention of Cologne in 'Don Juan'.
