Catalogue entry

The view here is of Chatillon in the Val d’Aosta, looking down on the bridges from the Cervina road with the Castle of Ussel in the distance beyond. This sketch is out of sequence in relation to the sketches in the Maurienne Valley, Turner having opened the book at the wrong end as he did in several cases.
