Inscribed ‘Glenco’ at the bottom left of the page, this sketch looks west along Glencoe from the road. The peak of Aonach Dubh is at the top left with the Notched Ridge (Aonach Eagach) at the right and the River Coe (inscribed ‘w’ for water) below the slope to the right. The peak of Meall Mòr directly ahead in the distance is exaggerated in height.
