The square plan with corner towers and central courtyard, with flights of steps, is evidently that of Wollaton; Turner drew it in two views, folios 34 verso and 35 verso (D00246, D00247) and there may have been a third on the page torn out preceding this one (see the technical notes in the sketchbook’s introduction).
