Catalogue entry

The composition continues across folio 18 recto opposite (D01152; Turner Bequest XXXVII 35). A view apparently of the interior of the same church is on folios 18 verso–19 recto (D01153–D01154; Turner Bequest XXXVII 36–37). We are standing in the south aisle, looking towards the east chapel, before which is a distinctively traceried screen that appears again in the next drawing, seen beyond the chancel.
