Catalogue entry

The Surrey bank of the Thames is seen from across the river, with the Star and Garter on the hill at left. Listed by Finberg as one of a batch of ‘loose leaves appear[ing] to belong to this book’ this was rebound as folio 41 verso so that the sketch aligns with its continuation on folio 42 (D07034; Turner Bequest CV 38).
