On the left of the leaf there is an extension, drawn with the sketchbook inverted, of the view of the Thames off the Custom House on folio 70 (D07074; Turner Bequest CV 62). To the right, made with the book turned upright, are two slight sketches of shipping, the lower one including St Paul’s Cathedral. See Introduction to the sketchbook for plans in the mid 1820s for a series of London subjects, including the Custom House and the Tower.
