Accepted by the nation as part of the Turner Bequest 1856
Drawn with the sketchbook inverted, and continued to the left on folio 128 (D06341). Identifying the view, Hill reproduces this double-spread as if it were the central section of a panorama from the North Terrace, extending to the left across folios 125 verso–126 (D06336–D06337) and to the right on folio 126 verso (D06338). This configuration is impossible in reality, and the horizon line here and in 128 is higher than in the other sections.
