Continued from folio 37 verso (D13522), this view looks across the Firth of Forth from the southern bank towards the distant Grampians. In the foreground beneath the bank from which the sketch was taken is the roof of a cottage on the shoreline of the river. At the left of the drawing on folio 37 verso may be Blackness Castle.
