This page may show two views near Rokeby Park. At the top of the page is a sketch that may show Mortham Tower from the fields to the south with the River Greta to its right. The same view is drawn on folio 8 (D25538). Beneath this is a view along a river with part of a building at the right seen between trees. This may be the east wing of Rokeby Park as seen from the River Greta to the north. This drawing continues slightly onto folio 8 verso (D25539), and there is a sketch of a bridge over the Greta on folio 9 verso (D25541). At the bottom of the page next to the stamped Turner Bequest number may be a detail sketch of parts of the house. There is a sketch on folio 11 (D25544) entitled ‘Rokeby Moat House’, sketches of the house on folios 30 and 51 verso (D25581, D25622), and perhaps on folio 55 (D25627).
