This and the pages either side of it in the sketchbook (folios 43 and 45; D27105, D27107) are page stubs, evidently torn before Turner drew his sketch of King’s College Chapel in Aberdeen on folio 42 verso (D27104), which continues at the top of folio 43 and the present page.
