The view towards Falmouth on folio 111 verso opposite (D08574; CXXIII 108a) was probably made from the same spot or nearby. Extensive later development makes the viewpoint for this sketch of the Cornish port uncertain. A sketch on folio 251 recto (D08802; CXXIII 248) is also inscribed ‘Penryn’.
