The island is seen to the south-west from the rugged foreshore on the south-east side of Marazion, where boats are drawn up on the beach. Clouds are lightly sketched in and heavy shading in the middle distance may indicate passing shadows or the texture of the rocks. There is a slight drawing which may show the same part of Marazion on folio 41 recto (D08926; CXXV 40), and a view of the mount from further north, across the causeway hidden here by the foreground promontory, on folio 41 verso (D08927; CXXV 40a).
For other views of the area, see under folio 32 recto (D08910; CXXV 31).
