The main part of this page is devoted to studies of antique statuary, possibly from the Uffizi in Florence or one of the churches or museums in Rome. The most complete appears to depict a large and ornate marble candelabrum decorated with sculptural reliefs which was designed to hold a Paschal (Easter) candle. A similar object dating from the twelfth century can be found in the Church of San Paolo fuori le mura in Rome. Also on the sheet are two rough sketches of an unidentified Italian piazza and buildings.
