The main focus of this two-page view, Prudhoe Castle itself, appears on folio 78 recto opposite (D12417). The present half shows the north bank of the Tyne near Howdene Bridge along the Wylam to Ovingham road (lightly indicated towards the right), looking south-west to the hills beyond Prudhoe on the left.
