The study for a watercolour in a private collection,1 which may have been made on a leaf from this book; see also the slight sketch of this subject, folio 1 recto (D00072). Turner’s title for the subject appears in an inscription on the verso of this leaf (D00084). There are some adventitious smears of watercolour along the lower and right edges.
