Accepted by the nation as part of the Turner Bequest 1856
Finberg (1909) states that the drawing shows a house on the bank of the Avon. The drawing was made with the page turned vertically, with the subject partly enclosed in a rectangular pencilled ‘frame’. There is a blue colour trial towards the bottom right.
