A watercolour of this subject, executed somewhat later, is Tate D00329 (Turner Bequest XXI C). Turner would have recognised the view from Paul Sandby’s aquatint of 1776. Another Warwick subject in this series is Tate D00327 (Turner Bequest XXI A).
