This page contains two distinct sketches. On the left-hand side of the sheet is part of a view of mountains which has spilled over from the opposite sheet of the double-page spread, see folio 58 verso (D14083). There is a faint inscription on this side of the composition which may indicate that the location is the pass of Mont Cenis in the Cottian Alps.
