This page contains three sketches depicting views in the Maurienne Valley, Savoy, on the approach towards St-Jean-de-Maurienne, the capital city of the valley. The bottom sketch includes the jagged profile of the mountain range known as the Grand Perron des Encombres, as seen from the south-west. A view of the peaks from the opposite side can be found on folio 85 verso (D14135).
