(main sketch, inverted in relation to main numbered series of subjects in the sketchbook) The right part of a double-page spread continued from D29095; Turner Bequest CCXCIII 33, opposite, recording the view from Lake Geneva towards the mountains on the south shore above St Gingolph, with a small boat in the foreground.
ii. (to right, drawn with sketchbook held upright) ?Chamonix from the path to the Montenvers; a very vigorous sketch with a soft pencil.
iii. (below, inverted in relation to main sketch) ?Chamonix from the path to the Montenvers.
