Listed by Finberg as the recto but now bound as the verso in the sketchbook, this page contains three sketches:
i. (main sketch, below) From above ‘Thonon’, looking over Lake Geneva.
ii. (above) A road leading towards hills, one surmounted by a ruined castle named beneath as ‘Chateau [?] Durcheim’; there is perhaps a further inscription to the right.
iii (left, drawn with the page in the upright position) A very hasty sketch of the shore of Lake Geneva, possibly near Meillerie, inscribed ‘Wood’ and, below, ‘C Boats[?].’
