Diana Cook and Dorothy Kirk reproduce the drawing, but describe it as an example of the ‘sparse and rudimentary’ and ‘fragmentary’1 Tamar studies in this part of the sketchbook, and thus difficult to identify precisely. There appears to be a small structure above the river at the centre. For other views along the Tamar Valley, see under folio 114 verso (D09606).
