At the top left is a view of Worcester from across the River Severn, with the cupola of St Nicholas’s Church (now redundant and obscured from this direction by later buildings), the tower of All Saints and the spire of St Andrews shown slightly detached from the view, and the cathedral beyond the bridge to the south-east, with barges below. There are more detailed versions of this view on folios 2 verso–3 recto and 4 recto (D22154–D22156). For other views of Worcester, see under D22154.
At the bottom right is a study of a barge, annotated illegibly, which is continued across folio 6 recto opposite (D22160), where there is another similar prospect across the river among other Worcester views.
