Accepted by the nation as part of the Turner Bequest 1856
Only a small, irregularly torn stub remains at the foot of the gutter. The approximate dimensions are given here to orientate it as though it were the top left-hand corner of a horizontal landscape composition, as the pale blue-grey wash, similar to that used on folio 34 recto (D00939; Turner Bequest XXXIV 33) suggests a sky.
