Orientated inversely to the foliation, this panoramic prospect of Oxford is taken from a similar viewpoint to Tate D28345; Turner Bequest CCLXXXIX 28 and shows the Radcliffe Camera, All Souls College, St Mary’s Church, and Christ Church College and the cathedral. Cottages frame the view at the left, guiding the eye to a serpentine path which leads down the hill towards the city.
