Occupying the outer half of the page, this slight study of the waterfront along the south bank of the River Thames is a continuation from the double-page view on folios 16 verso–17 recto (D17865–D17866), under the first of which the subject is discussed. Turner’s rather unclear inscription here may refer to a company occupying buildings here.
