The exact location of this view has not been determined. The drawing seems to have been made from a point close to Barmouth, looking east towards Cader Idris.

There are some paint smears, possibly from folio 36 recto (D01278; Turner Bequest XXXVIII 27).

Blank; a few paint smears; stamped in brown ink with Turner Bequest monogram.
