This previously unidentified sketch is a prospect of Dieppe, with the harbour bridge crossing the waters at centre and the Quai Henri IV at right. The same bridge is depicted in Tate D20209, D24524; Turner Bequest CCXX C, CCLVIII 13 and in the oil painting Dieppe: The Port from the Quai Henry IV of around 1827–8 (Tate N03385).
