The view, drawn with the page turned horizontally, is taken from Llyn Padarn, close to Dolbadarn Castle which appears on the extreme right, looking towards Llyn Peris and the bottom of the Pass of Llanberis. Other views of Dolbadarn Castle in are on folios 21 recto, 38 verso–39 recto, 41 recto and 44 recto (D02026, D02049–D02050, D02054, D02060).
