These cursory sketches show a ruined gateway with a Gothic pointed arch and part of the interior or exterior façade of what appears to be a church. It may be that these jottings are associated with the drawings of the ruins of St Andrew’s Church at Southwold, Suffolk, on Tate D18262; Turner Bequest CCIX 54.
