With the page turned vertically, at the top is a view of what seems to be a wooded river valley, possibly with a tower in the far distance towards the right. Below is a hastier sketch, with three vertical marks at the right possibly indicating a square tower seen on the diagonal. The subjects are likely to be in Kent (see the sketchbook’s Introduction), but so slight as to be effectively unidentifiable.
