Inverted relative to the sketchbook’s foliation is a study of cliffs, presumably on a Channel coast, with an illegible inscription above. The slighter drawings below appear to be continuations from similar views on folio 83 recto opposite (D35634), which are the other way up. See the sketchbook’s Introduction for the many slight coastal views scattered through it.
