This is a study taken from the Zwinger palace at Dresden. Turner pictures the Neustadt, Bridge, part of the Wall Pavilion, the ornate Hofkirche (Dresden Cathedral), the electoral castle (schloss) and finally the Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady) at right. At top left Turner has made a small jotting of some figures enjoying the Zwinger Gardens.
