Tate Collectives: Showcase is a platform for young people aged 13-25 to showcase their art and ideas. The platform is specifically aimed at young people. If you are over the age of 25 you may wish to use our Albums feature.

If you are aged 13-18 you must have parent or legal guardian permission before taking part in Tate Collectives: Showcase. Children under the age of 13 cannot use Tate Collectives: Showcase due to safeguarding and child protection reasons. This is because the content uploaded to Tate Collectives: Showcase goes live immediately. This means we post-moderate content on the site and to make this safe for everyone we need to restrict the age of the Tate Collectives: Showcase users. There are other areas of the Tate website you are free to use if you are under 13, specifically Tate Kids. Sorry if this causes any frustration; please contact collectives@tate.org.uk if you have any further questions around this.

By submitting your work to Tate Collectives: Showcase you declare to Tate that the image is your own original work which will not infringe the copyright or any other rights of a third party.

Entrants must ensure that any third party copyrighted material contained in a submitted work has already been cleared with the copyright holder.

All videos or images submitted to Tate Collectives: Showcase may be used on any Tate online or third party platform, and offline material to promote the Tate Collectives projects. All entrants give Tate non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty free, irrevocable licence in perpetuity to use their images for such purpose.

Submitted images or video must not contain obscene or defamatory content or material.

By submitting your work to Tate Collectives: Showcase you are deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions.

Now for the small print

The Board of Trustees of the Tate Gallery reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to choose to include or not include submission for use online. You agree to grant Tate the non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free right to reproduce, modify, edit and publish and distribute any images, videos, audio or text you submit. Tate is not responsible for monitoring, verifying or disproving the identity of any contributor. Any opinions, statements and other third party content are those of the respective authors(s) or distributor(s) and not of Tate. Tate does not endorse any such opinion, statement or other material posted in any image.

Tate may at some point wish to further reproduce (reproduce or store, by any means or any media) some of the content posted. In order to facilitate this, by submitting your work you (or, if you are under 18, your parent or guardian) agree to grant Tate a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual royalty-free licence to reproduce, modify, edit, publish and distribute the content you submit.

You must own all the rights to any material that you submit. In no event may you submit any third party material protected by copyright without having obtained the permission of the copyright owner. You agree that if you do submit such material, you must state the source.

You may not post any material that defames any person, invades their privacy, infringes their trademark or other rights, or which is otherwise unlawful.

Tate is not responsible for - nor assumes any liability for - the contents of third party websites.
