The plaster of this work was probably exhibited for the first time in Giacometti's exhibition at the Kunsthaus, Zurich, in December 1962-January 1963 (among nos.75-8, all described as 'Figure' 1958-60, ht. 68cm), but the bronzes, like those of T00775 and T00777, were not released until 1964.
