Technique and condition
A varnished oil painting on cream wove paper. Oil from the paint has migrated to the verso of the support causing it to darken.
On acquisition the woodpulp mount and paper tape remnants were removed and the work was inlaid. It was pressed before being triple mounted onto white museum board.
