The social and art historical contexts of the Camden Town Group are the focus of this study day, which combines a lecture from curator Nicola Moorby with a visit to the Tate Archive, led by archive curator Emily White. In conjunction with the Modern Painters: The Camden Town Group exhibition, the afternoon archive visit presents an opportunity to examine letters, photographs and other original material, and to learn more about the Group's fascination with modern society and Edwardian London.
