JMW Turner raised the status of watercolour through his innovative methods and mastery of technique. Drawing on Colour and Line: Turner's Experiments, this workshop will study Turner's techniques and his experimentation with colour, light and material. Through lectures, practical work, visits to the Prints and Drawing Room and visits to the surrounding riverside, participants will have the opportunity to produce watercolours inspired by some of Turner’s most spectacular works. This workshop is for those with some watercolour experience.
