In conjunction with Hogarth, this creative writing workshop explores the urban environment as a source of artistic inspiration and production.
William Hogarth’s vibrant satires are amongst the most famous images of eighteenth-century London, much of which is still recognisable today. His fascination lay with the public and hidden narratives of the city and the interplay of high and low life.
Through workshops, practical exercises, consideration of the exhibition and a tour of Hogarth's London, participants will be able to shape new stories for the twenty-first-century city.
