To coincide with The Lure of the East, independent curator Rose Issa has selected four essential films which explore different views of the Middle East. The programme includes Turtles Can Fly (2004) by the Kurdish-Iranian filmmaker Bahman Ghobadi and David Lean’s classic Lawrence of Arabia (1962).
